I just created an issue for this (#54) and opened a PR, but I then I saw this one already existed. These changes are basically the same as mine, so I'll go ahead and close mine. I've tested the changes on Windows and Linux and everything appears to be working. In Windows, the handle returned matches |

I've tested using Win32 API to create menus with returned window handle.
