  2. Merge pull request #794 from henrykironde/pyinst

Use pyinstaller for creating exe for windows and app for mac
ethanwhite committed on GitHub Feb 17, 2017
  3. Use pyinstaller for creating exe for windows and app for mac

Switch from Py2exe, Reason; not enough documentation
for the tool when it comes to py2to3 support

Create a spec file from the source using pyinstaller with __main__.py
    Renamed the __main__.spec(output) to pyinstaller.spec

    On mac options used
    	pyinstaller --onefile --icon=icon.ico --windowed
    for windows
pyinstaller --windowed is enough for creating a default spec file

Win32com is not available on unix machines so the import failure reported
will not affect the application(--log-level ERROR removes warnings)

Note: we still use the setup.py option "py2app" to build the debian package

  1. Merge pull request #780 from henrykironde/opts

Change download parser to require atleast one argument
ethanwhite committed on GitHub Jan 26, 2017
  2. Retriever install -h repair

Make sure the dataset is by default required as a sinlge string not list
    (remove nargs='?', default=None)

On Python3 `retriever install` allows engine to be None. On the contrary,
python2 does capture this case as an error and prints out the associated help

    Adding a check `args.command == "install" and not args.engine` enables python3
to manually get help using `retriever install -h`

  3. Add citation as a string in the source

The CITATION file is not installed properly in the right location
Using a string for citation is a better reliable method

  4. Merge pull request #781 from ShivamNegi/master

Fix 778: Update version.py to run in python 2
henrykironde committed on GitHub Jan 26, 2017
  5. Change download parser to require atleast one argument

1.Add prog name for argparse in lib/get_opts
2.Remove `nargs='?', default=None` so that we have just the default

    Hence expecting one argument,
Any use of nargs will return a list which is not needed in this case
