No package yet. You may need to upgrade and update.

wrk needs openssl dev package and gcc/dev stack.

What follows is brief instructions on how to install wrk on Linux.

Ubuntu/Debian (clean box)

sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev git -y
git clone https://github.com/wg/wrk.git wrk
cd wrk
make
# move the executable to somewhere in your PATH, ex:
sudo cp wrk /usr/local/bin

The above installs build tools, open ssl dev libs (including headers), and git. Then uses git to download wrk and builds it from that.

CentOS / RedHat / Fedora

sudo yum groupinstall 'Development Tools'
sudo yum install -y openssl-devel git
git clone https://github.com/wg/wrk.git wrk
cd wrk
make
# move the executable to somewhere in your PATH
sudo cp wrk /somewhere/in/your/PATH

Installs the build tools, open ssl dev libs (including headers), and git. Then uses git to download wrk and build.
