Sorry if I totally missed something here, but I am struggling with how to reset all values and the displayed text of a multiselect from a function (such as on a form reset). I have tried various jquery methods to no avail.

In fact, it actually don't store original value, so its not possible directly to reset... If you really need it, you can by Javascript store initial value, and them re-set it and call keyup event on input. We may add something for it future, but no plans for now.

also, I will be happy to accept a patch that add a reset() method on MultiSelect main class :)

Thinking about the best way that it would be to get it working...

Would need to do two things:

  • delete the hidden input field value (straight forward)
  • delete all boxes that hold the text by either
    • store a hidden field with a list of href IDs (bit bit-box) to be cleaned on reset
    • give another class to the href and remove based on classes.

I could likely get this done, but not sure on my jquery coding style :)
