  1. Remove "releases" subdirectory

Releases are now archived in the separate "releases" branch so as to
stop them from polluting "grep -R", "git grep" and "ack" output with
    probably-irrelevant noise.

  2. Remove now-redundant 'readme' tasks

  3. Make doc/command-t.txt a symlink to README.txt

Originally README.txt was a symlink to doc/command-t.txt, added for the
benefit of GitHub, but GitHub doesn't follow such symlinks so it didn't
    work.

Instead, I set up Rake tasks for keeping the two files in sync.

Evidently this wasn't enough because I've received patches from people
editing one file or the other.

So, invert the original approach and make doc/command-t.txt a symlink to
README.txt. The full text gets included when making the Vimball, and
Pathogen users will also get access to the documentation too because
":call pathogen#helptags()" does the right thing with symbolic links.

Of course, in hindsight, I should have done it this way all along.

  1. doc: update Pathogen section

    - add note about selecting a specific version

    - since commit 659ea32, we can run "rake make" without any
dependencies, so use that for installation within a Git clone

  1. Documentation updates

    - add Pathogen section

    - flesh out troubleshooting notes

    - move *command-t* tag up to top of contents so that ':h command-t' will
      show contents

    - replace "VIM" with "Vim"; while the former is used in the official Vim
help in some places (usually only in titles), "Vim" is used far more
often (generally in all normal sentences)

  2. Git: ignore doc/tags

This is for people installing Command-T as a Git submodule under
    ~/.vim/bundle with pathogen.vim. We don't want a generated file
cluttering up their 'git status' listings.

  2. Remove method used in only one place

Since we had to make this a class method in order to leave the Vim
module untouched, there is less reason to have this as a separate,
    self-documenting method now.

  4. Move VIM::Window methods inside CommandT namespace

As these are methods called on VIM::Window instances, and we don't want
to add methods to class we don't own (to avoid trampling other plugins
that try to do so), change these methods into class methods, then move
    them into the desired namespace.

  10. Prepare for namespace shift
