When I run Firefox and Windmill, CPU utilization shoots through the roof and stays there until I quit.

This is Firefox 9 (Python 2.7), but I saw the same with 4 (Python 2.6).

And the very same on Windows with Firefox 9, Python 2.7.

Windmill version is 1.6, by the way.

And Chrome

And OSX/Firefox - my MBP can hardly run it at all?
After a few actions recording the python process is at 120% and does not go down until I kill the process.
$ uname -a
Darwin XXXXX 11.4.0 Darwin Kernel Version 11.4.0: Mon Apr 9 19:32:15 PDT 2012; root:xnu-1699.26.8~1/RELEASE_X86_64 x86_64

$ pip freeze |grep windmill
$ python --version
Python 2.7.2

Edit: Same behaviour with Chrome
