Hi All,

I'm a graphic and web designer trained mostly in print production but self taught web coding skills (which is not easy but everyone expects a graphic designer knows code) so therefore I'm not great at javascript but learning!

Has anyone / Or does anyone know how to: write the js code to manage how many of the same item can be added to the cart?

I would like to limit each product added to be limited to 1 or 2. I have seen in the following thread wojodesign suggested some code to do so however I cannot get it to work and am unsure where to place it within the simpleCart.js

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the awesome plugin!

Hi @lugg0, there are quite a few examples of using a 'beforeAdd' event in order to limit quantities. Search around to see if any of them help you. If you are still having trouble, let me know and I can point you in the right direction. Also, be weary of @integrate who seems to be cruising these message boards trying to solicit work.
