Problem: by default, even with the "slide" animation, the height of the .flexslider control will be zero while the slide images load. If there is content below the slider, it will jump down when the image slides load. This is easily noticeable on slow connections.

A workaround is to set a static height for the .flexslider or its ul, but that is not a responsive solution.

Issue #174 proposes a solution but I found it to be unreliable between loading the page in a new tab, and doing a refresh on it. I have it running at at the moment, and the height of the slider is first computed as 0 when simply loading the page in a new tab. This causes the content jump undesirable effect.

Would be really great to have this fixed.

@dandv been trying to think of a fix for this as well. what about setting a min-height on the before call back and then removing it on the start call back?
