Cart & Checkout Block load Block Editor Assets in Frontend #9040

Prerequisites

• I have carried out troubleshooting steps and I believe I have found a bug.
• I have searched for similar bugs in both open and closed issues and cannot find a duplicate.

Describe the bug

The assets are registered in
woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-blocks/build/cart-frontend.asset.php

Expected behavior

Only frontend scripts should be enqueued to avoid unnecessary bloat in frontend.

Actual behavior

Increases load on cart & checkoutpages by about 76 JS scripts and over 40 other requests as the whole block editor assets are loaded because of the dependencies set for the cart & checkout blocks.

Steps to reproduce

1. Switch cart & checkout from classic php templates to block based

Isolating the problem

• I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only WooCommerce plugin is active.
• This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
• I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
