I have set up a select attribute with some terms. I have used those terms as variations on a product all with the same price.

When a variation is picked the cart doesn't show. I have even chosen a default value and it doesn't show.

@pstonier - the add to cart button shows up fine for me when viewing with Chrome on OSX, not seeing any JS errors either. What browser / OS are you using?

I fixed it now. The problem was the footer was missing wp_footer(); and there was a conflict of loading 2 jquery libraries.

Hi all - hate to resurrect this solved issue, but I'm having the same trouble with my wife's site (www.lahappy.com) in her store, I've created an item that has a few variations (the item may not be there when you go to check it out, but other items in the shop will be there to examine). The dropdown shows up, but when I make a selection, the "Add to cart" button still doesn't show. Even when I force the "display:none" option off to show the button, when I click it, I get an error telling me I didn't select my product option.

Certainly a JS error her, I'm aware, but I've tried a number of things: updated jQuery version (and reverted back to what I have now), disabled plugins one-by-one, etc. Nothing seems to help.

Any ideas what I might be missing here? Any help certainly is appreciated.

cinchdev, check to see if the theme has in the footer.php file of the theme.

Looking at the source, it appears to be loading, but it's most commonly the issue that causes it to happen.

Also, try using jQuery in no conflict mode.

I'm having the same problem on my site.

Example product - http://110.232.140.115/~threesix/shop/three-sixty-tee/

Any suggestions? I suck at debugging JS.

Hi, I have been going back and forth with this for 5 days. Would anyone mind looking @ http://www.anabolicthreat.com/shop/at-7-3/ as an example. I cannot get the add to cart to show. Even when I manually remove the display: none from the div to make it appear

I get the message "Please choose product options…"

I have tried these as well.

  • old jquery version
  • wp_footer() missing from theme
  • javascript conflict - check console

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem; Add to Cart button not showing up, only for variable products. When I switch to the default theme it works fine. I can't see any js errors. I have wp_footer() is there. The URL is http://www.8degreesplato.com/. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@ Ulysses-Odysseus I just figured it out yesterday. The template was missing wp_header(); in the header.php. DOH!

Banging my head here, someone please help!
I have checked and added the wp_head and wp_footer...added the wp_head...didn't work.
I have made sure each variation has a price...does not work.
I have added 2 variations of a script to the functions.php file...did not work.
I have deactivated all plugins, cleared the cache, switched to several different themes...did not work. I have been to every forum and tried every "solution" that anyone has posted...even the BS cookie fix from woo, nothing is working.
Who thinks they are smart enough to figure this out?
