Special characters in git repo name breaks $LOAD_PATH #179

When specifying a git repository with :git => 'reponame', a directory is created at vendor/gems/ruby/1.8/dirs/reponame.

If 'reponame' contains a :, $LOAD_PATH will not read it correctly.

This happens when using ssh shorthand like user@host:repo.git when a repository lies in your home dir.

Either the directory should remove special characters like :, or an error should be raised when using a special character in a reponame.
