Allows to filter the recently added items, e.g.

<recentlyaddedjob>
    <!-- Only use unseen movies -->
    <moviepath>videodb://4/?xsp={"type":"movies", "rules":[{"field":"playcount", "operator":"is", "value":"0"}]}</moviepath>
    <!-- Only use unseen episodes from series "SerieA" or "SerieB" -->
    <episodepath>videodb://5/?xsp={"type":"episodes", "rules":[{"and":[{"field":"playcount", "operator":"is", "value":"0"}, {"or":[{"field":"tvshow", "operator":"contains", "value":"SerieA"}, {"field":"tvshow", "operator":"contains", "value":"SerieB"}]}]}]}</episodepath>
</recentlyaddedjob>

IMO we do this properly with arbitrary Dirs from the skin.

Arbitrary Dirs from the skin? I don't think I understand you... You mean the skin would decide which items to show rather than the user?

@bossanova808

Default should maybe be to follow the show watched/unwatched setting in the appropriate library (movies or TV)...

We're going to do this properly after Frodo, and allow the skin to call up arbitrary folders.

@jmarshallnz
Very old stuff, but is there something like "allow the skin to call up arbitrary folders" planned / committed?
Still wants it my way and not the skinner's, (i.e. I want only specific series to appear there) but just for info...
