@jimfcaroll, sorry git still gets me sometimes.
[python] adds a background progress dialog
You could have just used 'git reset --hard' to drop your last few commits if all you wanted to do was return to the first one.
Have you built and tested this particular commit? If so, I'll put it in.
yes, it builds and works fine.
i did a rebase and couldn't push it, something about the tip of something. it was easier to do this, hope it's not too inconvenient.
@jimfcarroll if ok for you this can go in next merge window
ha! I was about to push the button when you message came through. I forgot we're on a cycle. When is the next window?
And, I'm fine with this. It looks good to me.
merge windows are always the 1st to 10th of the month.
I'm having some serious problems with this.
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/docs/python-docs/13.0-gotham/xbmcgui.html#DialogProgressBG-isFinished The text doesn't seem right when it returns True.
Also when calling this from some other place as the dialog was created you get http://pastebin.com/hySB0SSU You should be able to check if that dialog is up from any place in your script.
almost all the time even after you have closed the dialog and then restart the script the dialog keeps going back to the initial string it had when you first ran the script. calling the update function temporary sets the correct string but it just falls back to previous run.
if dialog was created in another function you cannot update it in this function http://pastebin.com/25pksJbx
