hi folks is there a harddisk image mounted in the virtual machine? were there any errors during the script execution? probably i found the bug but i need some more information from you |
@dasrecht I didn't see any errors while running the script. No HD image was mounted though, manually picking the downloaded one in |
@paulstraw you can fix this problem by removing the --setuuid "" in the ievms file. see this pull request: bassnode@d3d40fc |
This should be fixed in the latest commit. Of course, let me know if you're still having problems. |
I just tried an install with... curl -s https://raw.github.com/xdissent/ievms/master/ievms.sh | IEVMS_VERSIONS="7" bash and got this same error. I'm running os x 10.6.8 and Virtual Box 4.1.8 |
I have the same issue with...
I also installed IE 7 and 8, which seem to be working. UPDATE 2012.04.12: After deleting the IE9 VM from VirtualBox and ~/VirtualBox VMs, the third install attempt seems to have worked. |
After installing on OS X 10.7.1/VirtualBox 4.0.12 (tried all systems as well as IE7 only), I'm getting the above error on boot. The script itself seems to run fine. Is this a known issue?
