SSP Syntactic Analyzer

Xingzhong xxu7@stevens.edu

Project of ECE Dept. @ Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ
Project belongs to the Stevens Semantic Signal Processing Project

The SSP Syntactic Analyzer aims to explore the signal processing source
code at syntactic level. In the main platform, we manually write rule based
source code parser through javascript. However, the scale and performance is
not what we expected. Therefore, this tool is supposed to facliate the main
platform to parsing the signal processing source code.
This tool analyze the C/C++ programming languages based on Abstract Syntax
Tree (AST). It use libclang's API in LLVM project which can provides easy and
stable parsing performance.
The analyzer will extract the AST into an external database. And we provides
Python script to analyze the AST through database.

Usage:
1. Add source file into the regular LLVM source code tree. ~/llvm/tools/clang/tools/
2. Make and add the generated binary file into $PATH
3. Execute 'sspcl -dbname testdbname foo.c'
