As a xoder I want to terminate upload process so that I can recover faster in case of wrong port selection #1730

A quite often scenario is messing with the serial port or board model selection in the upload dialog. If the upload is process is run, I have to wait a few dozen of seconds for the background tool termination. It is tiresome.

Let's add a 🚫 button to cancel/terminate/abort upload.

Acceptance criteria

  • I can cancel an upload process by pressing the button and it stops immediately
  • I can cancel a compilation process as well
  • On termination an error is added to the log¹


Compilation terminated by the user.
Upload terminated by the user. The board firmware might be left in an inconsistent state.
