Change Logo in Childtheme

Robert Windisch edited this page Jul 25, 2015 · 1 revision

Create a new logo in a graphic program of your choice, write down the dimension of your new logo and upload the logo via FTP in your Childtheme folder images. In your admin->Appearance->Xtreme One->Header you have to select Blogtitle H1 <>. With this setting the body will obtain the class logo.

After that open the file css/screen/theme.css of your Childtheme and add or edit the following CSS rule:

.logo #header h1 a, .logo .blogtitle a, .logo .blogtitle span{
    background: url(../../images/your-logo.png) top left no-repeat;
    width: 250px;
    height: 60px

Important: since version 1.1 you can choose between logo with or without link. If you choose without a link, the background image gets a span.
