I was able to compile both the Pluton and the PHP library. But when I try to load the extension, I am getting the following error

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php5/20090626+lfs/pluton.so' - /usr/lib/php5/20090626+lfs/pluton.so: undefined symbol: _ZNSs4_Rep20_S_empty_rep_storageE in Unknown on line 0

Congrats on getting it built!
Can you tell me what OS and what version of PHP?

I've finally got some cycles to spare to I hope to get this project into some reasonable shape RSN.

@JoyceBabu

Thank you Mark. If I remember correctly, I had to modify one or two make files to compile it (the perl library was giving me some error). I compiled it for PHP 5.3.x on Mac OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

As soon as I get write access to the repo again, I'll push the changes that make it easy to ./configure && make install

At that point I'll be able to have a look at the php wrapper. I must say that that wrapper has probably only ever been tested in FreeBSD and Linux.
