Following merge of commit 5b036b5 (PR #519), the tests are not passing anymore (test-build.js specifically).

Ya, I noticed right after merging, but I got hold up until now. Just pushed a fix d1ed27e

It's still not passing though, and I've noticed it has randomly broken down on Bower multiple times:
https://travis-ci.org/#!/yeoman/yeoman/builds/2653142
https://travis-ci.org/#!/yeoman/yeoman/builds/2738878

Looks like the Bower Heroku account is overloaded: https://bower.herokuapp.com/packages/jquery

  ✖ 2 of 31 tests failed:
1088
1089 1) Bower install packages should install backbone with yeoman install backbone:
1090 Error: timeout of 25000ms exceeded
1091 at Object.<anonymous> (/home/travis/builds/yeoman/yeoman/cli/node_modules/mocha/lib/runnable.js:158:14)
1092 at Timer.list.ontimeout (timers.js:101:19)
1093
1094 2) Bower install packages should have copied resolved components to app/components:
1095 Error: ENOENT, stat 'app/components/backbone'

The broken part (test-build.js) seems to actually work on my side.

We should work around this kind of issues (i.e. testing with a 3rd party .... is no good when the 3rd party breaks ;))

I agree with you in principle, but this should not be an issue. Seriously, more than 25 sec to resolve an url. The 1 single Heroku dynamo Bower is hosted on must be hammered...
