wishlist: tags for the releases

git log setup.py reveals that version did change since initial import, but there is no tags.

I advise to use 'git tag -a' to get proper annotated tags.

usually it is better to close an issue when it gets resolved (there is
still no tags for previous releases for when version was changed)
so open issues serve also a TODO list ;)
