Steps to reproduce

  1. Install app on Android 13 device
  2. Enable monochromatic icons on the system-wide theme settings

Expected behavior

The icon should be visible on the home screen

Actual behavior

Blank filled icon.

Android version

Android 13

Other details

Looks like the ic_launcher_foreground.xml contains a solid background behind the app icon's logomark. This should be removed according to Android's adaptive icon standards.

The screenshots are captured from a Samsung device running Android 13. If you would like to test/reproduce using Android Studio's official emulators, the app icon must be pinned into the home screen (instead of the app drawer).

I can't seem to reproduce it, neither via my personal device nor with the emulator (both Android 13). The ic_launcher_foreground.xml doesn't contain a solid background, so I doubt that's the issue.
If you have an idea, feel free to create a PR, otherwise I don't see anything I could do about it.
