Having this erron on Mint as well. (Was because out of date version) EDIT: Updated youtube-dl I no longer receive this error |

Interesting. what happens when you just curl it? Does it require some cookies? When I curl I get a blocked 302 response. |

i didn't try to curl it , but yeah i guess it require cookies but the strange thing is i setup a local test server with centos 7 and it works fine |

Where is the working server located? Appears to be blocked in the US. That would explain why I'm getting the blocked message. I don't have anyway to test without the country block. When you say you setup a local test server, is that a server running youtube-dl or a copy of the remote software? |

the server that i setup for testing is using it's own youtube-dl and everything works fine on it and it's located on my pc |

Compare md5sums of the youtube-dl script and maybe version # of installed pip software. Maybe there's an updated library that is causing this. |

Sure. How did you install youtube-dl? Did you use pip, package manager, or manual download? on both systems run Compare the resulting numbers they should be the same. If they aren't one is running a different version. |

hi, sorry for delay i installed it on both machine using this guide and i compared md5sums for both and the result is the same Live Server |
