Could you post the output when running with the --verbose option and please make sure you have the latest version of youtube-dl.

Hi Jaime!

I do have the latest version, and it still failed without the "--verbose"
option -HOWEVER- it worked when "--verbose" was included! (Puzzled look,
but happy nevertheless!)

@bzimmerly It should work without the --verbose option. Can you run it again without --verbose ? --verbose is just a verbosity option which prints out some debugging info and has to do nothing with the internal working of youtube-dl.

It must have been a momentary glitch or something the last time I ran it. A
programmer friend of mine used to call these "POM" problems. (POM == "Phase
of the Moon.) Anyway, it -did work- without the "--verbose" and here is the

OK, thanks for the report, the problem is that sometimes Youtube gives a signature that we don't support, but if you try a second time or more it gives a supported signature. There's no way to fix this issue (we know it often happens) without being able to reproduce it.
