Related issue: #2807 As stated in that issue comments this video is not too large and I am not using proxy.

  • Login or account credentials are not needed.
  • They are using referrer header

below command is working

curl -H "Referer: http://www.playhd.video/embed.php?vid=61" -H "Cookie: AVS=a4b7713d52ae7d43c60d6c6d3e85578c" -H "Range: bytes=0-" http://www.playhd.video/media/videos/hd/61.mp4 > 61.mp4

OR

curl -H "Referer: http://www.playhd.video/embed.php?vid=61" http://www.playhd.video/media/videos/hd/61.mp4 > 61.mp4

Solved by using --add-header in youtube-dl

youtube-dl -v http://www.playhd.video/video/59/around-venezia --add-header Referer:http://www.playhd.video/video/59/around-venezia
