Hi,

When I try to launch the latest version 2016.08.10 of youtube-dl.exe in my clean copy of Windows XP SP3 (with original CD and genuine license key) running into my VMWare 12.1.1 I get a error message that missing msvcr100.dll and the application aborts. Its the unique application which is causing error when is launched. So my question is if recent versions of youtube-dl.exe depends of this DLL file to run it, because in Windows XP SP3 is not included. Please see the following snapshot:

Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately it does not work for me anyway. I still get the error, that the mscvr100.dll can't be found.
