Thanks for this nice work. I have noticed that youtube-dl now download the highest quality by default, see #10

Is it possible to download the lowest quality, or is there any options to let me choose the quality currently? Because I am trying to save the bandwidth and I absolutely don't need to download the best quality video. Many thanks.

Hello,

in this video: http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x11prld
the 1080 format is corrupted , the first 7mn are black and when i download the video with youtube-dl i have no choice , the 1080 video.mp4 is corrupted because some atom infos are missing

As the mnft file describe each video format by the "name":"value" it could be nice to select it manualy instead of selecting the best by default.

youtube-dl.exe -f 720 http://www.dailymotion.com/....

Many Thanks

Done, now you can list the formats with the -F option and select the one you want with the -f {format code}.
