Unable to download Instagram video #10290

Nevermind, using the cookies worked for this. No idea why using the username/password options didn't work (are they supposed to work for instagram?) or why I was able to download some of the private videos and not others, but since this doesn't actually seem to be an issue, I'll close this. |
Apologies if this ends up being a dumb user error, but I was trying to download an Instagram video posted today and got this error.. This issue appears to be just with this some private videos...I tried some videos on another person's private account and saw the same thing, though I was able to download one video off of the original person's private account somehow. I haven't seen it at all with videos on public accounts.

**edit - I should add that while at first I tried and captured this without using a username/password, I did try using my username/pass in afterwards and still didn't get anywhere -- as far as I can tell, the area where it breaks is the exact same.
No idea if this is an actual issue or just something I'm doing wrong, so any help would be appreciated.
