Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2016.09.19. If it's not read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

Downloading from dctp.tv doesn't work. But with a German IP it should work.
But I get an ERROR: rtmpdump exited with code 1

ERROR: rtmpdump exited with code 1

When I try youtube-dl -g and use rtmpdump then I get following error:
