  • I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2016.10.02
  • At least skimmed through README and most notably FAQ and BUGS sections
  • [Searched] the bugtracker for similar issues including closed ones
  • Bug report (encountered problems with youtube-dl with theplatform)

I found this similar closed issue (#10546), it seems it was a geolocation problem, but I tried the previous command from France, Mexico, and the USA, and I'm still getting the same error. So I'm not sure geolocation is the problem.
