Mmh, why exactly should someone do this: ``...please report this issue on http://yt-dl.org/bug''? If you get no answer at all. So, as far as I understand,`arte7' is no longer supported.

Sorry for the late answer. You're using an outdated version of youtube-dl; the download works fine for me with youtube-dl v2013.08.09 (and rtmpdump ) . Type sudo youtube-dl -U to update.

Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHub.*

Just a remark:
I se . A `git pull' is not enough (I use youtube-dl from
git), you also have to update.

Many thanks

git pull is perfectly adequate if you're running from source (i.e.
running something like python -m youtube_dl). The youtube-dl
binary in the repository is just for legacy, and has no youtube-dl
related functionality.

You can create a youtube-dl binary by typing make. If you pull
afterwards, you need to recompile again. I suspect that you've either
done that or installed youtube-dl via a separate channel (e.g. PyPi or
distribution packages). How are you executing youtube-dl?

Probably the worst possible way... I simply ran the binary which comes
with the git repo, without compiling or updating.
As I prefer to run the binary without installation I now create a link
to $HOME/bin and recompile it after a git pull, which works fine.
