Thanks for this otherwise great tool! Retrying didn't help, worked like a charm on another file (tested with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dcr8dm9Prkk)

I was getting the same error, for a different movie, but also from VEVO, and can verify that this is fixed as of 2013.08.09. Just youtube-dl --update and then retry.

Thanks to @patrickslin via @sulge & @firmanelhakim at #1208 (and #1215)!

I recommend to the developers (@phihag) that the error message also encourages updating and then retrying (at least when --verbose is used); I installed youtube-dl via homebrew, originally, and wasn't aware that I could get the latest version so easily (homebrew lags behind a few days sometimes).

I'd suggest the wording be changed to "ERROR: Unable to decrypt signature, key length xx not supported; retry or check for updated version; else please report this issue on ...
