  • I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2017.03.02

python3 $(which youtube-dl) --cookies cookies.txt --user-agent "my user agent" --no-check-certificate [--other options] [link]

Fixed the problem. (The thread were too long and confusing)
