I had been running Youtube-DL with DSL with no troubles at all, but have recently moved to a home with Cable Modem (peak is much faster), and have noticed that with Youtube specifically, there is sometimes a 5-minute delay before videos begin to download - other sites don't seem to show this.

Further, running youtube-DLG in Linux, this doesn't seem to be the case. Is there a flag, or other instruction I can add to normal youtube-dl to prevent this? I normally run it on my Mac as the backend of a player, and would really like to see if there is some way to fix this.

Thanks!

P.S. The output from Terminal looks normal. It just hangs and sometimes times-out at the "Downloading Webpage" stage.
