Fix for 88 length:

    elif len(s) == 88:
        return s[7:28] + s[87] + s[29:45] + s[55] + s[46:55] + s[2] + s[56:87] + s[28]

@youtubedlmessingupagain The fix has been integrated into youtube-dl - you'll get the same code when you update.

@youtubedlmessingupagain Sorry, my mistake. The fix has been integrated into git, but didn't make it into the release. You'll need v2013.08.28.1 or newer.

For the record: 2013.08.28.1 is now released and includes support for the new 88 signature scheme. Type sudo youtube-dl -U to update.

@harveysm See #1328, they have changed it again, it's fixed in the repository but there's not a new version yet.
