Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

While trying to save a file from soundcloud, it doesnt embed the thumbnail or any metadata into the mp3. It downloads the correct file and such, but when i try to download for example a album or playlist, i would have to manually fill in the metadata. Any idea why it shows that it succeeded but in reality it did not?

Thumbnail is embedded properly as well as all metadata as clearly seen from your log.

the mp3 file that is outputed does not contain any of the information. just the song itself.

Most likely your player or whatever you use is not capable of reading thumbnails/metadata. I've provided the log from ffmpeg where it's clearly seen that everything is embedded.
