Hi,
there are several livestreams available through
http://www.ardmediathek.de/tv/live
which currently cannot be handled by youtube-dl.
For instance the arte livestream available through
http://www.ardmediathek.de/tv/ARTE-deutsch/live?kanal=5880
On this site there is a div tag of class media and mediaA which has a data-ctrl-player attribute. In this attribute there is an ID (21200504). With this ID it's possible to get a JSON file
(http://www.ardmediathek.de/play/config/21200504) where we can find URLs (clipUrl) to playlist files (https://artelive-lh.akamaihd.net/i/artelive_de@393591/master.m3u8).
Hopefully with these informations someone who knows youtube-dl internals can easily add support for these livestreams.
