404 not found error in youtube-dl attempting to download from CTV Canada. No account needed and not likely to be a geoblock issue, as video does play in U.S. Not sure if problem with Flash video container or if I'm entering the wrong URL for the video extraction. Extended description below.

If the purpose of this issue is a bug report, site support request or you are not completely sure provide the full verbose output as follows:

Hi, can you help me grab a video from channel CTV News in Canada? I know it's not a geoblock issue, as I'm in the U.S. and can watch the video in the web browser. It appears to be embedded in some kind of proprietary Flash Video widget or container. But it keeps freezing up and hiccupping, so I want to download to watch the program offline.

So far, I have tried using various Firefox add-ons, like Video Download Helper and DownThemAll AntiContainer, and looking through the page source, but nothing helps. I even tried playing it in fullscreen and recording the screen using a screen recorder program, but as the video itself keeps glitching (either due to something wonky about Flash Video or just because I have slow Internet), the recorded video is incomplete and unwatchable.

Is there a different URL I should be entering in youtube-dl itself? The one I put in is here:

http://www.ctvnews.ca/w5/justin-trudeau-man-who-would-be-pm-discusses-his-past-his-politics-1.2059548

I've included the verbose log of what happens when I try to download it. Not sure why I'm getting a 404 error, as the video does still exist.

Kinda a 1/2 solution for you....

Click the i in a circle icon (Show Info) and you will get the direct link to the video:
http://www.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=469865

Youtube-dl can download from the direct link

however the ffmpeg merge failed for me...had to manually merge two files myself:

C:>youtube-dl.py http://www.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=469865
