If the purpose of this issue is a site support request please provide all kinds of example URLs support for which should be included (replace following example URLs by yours):

• Single livestream: https://go.twitch.tv/food
• All other URLs with the domain go.twitch.tv.

Note that youtube-dl does not support sites dedicated to copyright infringement. In order for site support request to be accepted all provided example URLs should not violate any copyrights.

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

Twitch are testing a beta version of their site at go.twitch.tv which is intended to load faster on slow connections. Not all features are currently implemented on this subdomain; however, the structure of the path component appears to remain the same. Here is a support article about the beta. (See the "List of pages hosted on go.twitch.tv" section for a list of supported URLs.)

My suggested solution would be to simply treat go.twitch.tv as an alias for twitch.tv.
