If the purpose of this issue is a site support request please provide all kinds of example URLs support for which should be included (replace following example URLs by yours):

Note that youtube-dl does not support sites dedicated to copyright infringement. In order for site support request to be accepted all provided example URLs should not violate any copyrights.

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

Looks like Vidme has adopted the m3u8 playlist stream video format and newer videos fail extraction.

The culprit seems to be when calling the formats_to_download = list(format_selector(ctx)) method on YoutubeDL.py which return the expected Exception "requested format not available."

I can confirm that we are able to extract the video formats from Vid.me and get the relevant video formats -- not sure how to solve this "sort_formats" issue.
