Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2017.10.07. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

I saw hooktube.com listed in the extractor code, yet it wasn't completed or it doesn't work now. There are a lot of important videos getting taken down from YouTube and although they can be found for now on hooktube.com who knows how long they will be there.
