I have a script called https://www.youphptube.com/.

It is an opensource script where people download and install their own video sites

I have hundreds sites spread over the internet, we use youtube-dl to download videos for other sites including youphptube too.

But when we trie to get the duration from one of our sites we got the message:

WARNING: Falling back on generic information extractor.

What is the proper way to write the metatags or info to let youtube-dl get all needed information.
I have tried to find an manual or something but I could not.

Thanks in advance

The warning clearly tells you this site is not explicitly supported and extraction is delegated to generic extractor that may or may not succeed. You can mask your data behind any pattern generic extractor supports to make it succeed (see the extractor/generic.py).
