The video apparently downloads correctly, but audio drops out and in when playing. the file; the video plays correctly from the browser.

I have used youtube-dl for several years w/no problem like this. Possibly other files I have dl'd have the problem but at this time I haven't encountered it. The issues occurred on a file dated 2015 so I retried the dl with current youtube; no improvement. The first audio dropout occurs about 10sec in while the keyboard is onscreen and about the moment an ad pop-up appears. The ad does not appear when I try to play the dl'd file. I am running linux kde4 normally use kaffein to play the video. I have tried SMP2 which produces no sound at all.; Xine starts the same as kaffein and drops the audio about the same place and also fuzzes the video on the right side frame about when the audio drops out.

Tried downloading 3-4 times, same result. Time of first drop out remains the same. Other locations in the video sometimes appear to play and then the audio again drops out.
