When trying to download a password protected Vimeo video using www.vimeo.com as a domain (either http or https) the procedure fails with "video password verification failed!", the download works when using vimeo.com as domain (either http or https).
Created a test video:
URL: https://www.vimeo.com/249108620
Password: test1234
Suggested solution: I've not had the opportunity to delve into the bug further to investigate. When opening the video through a browser, one gets redirected to https://vimeo.com from any other url base, so it's possible there's a redirect yt-dl is ignoring. Another (extremely dirty) solution would be automatically "scrubbing" www.vimeo.com to https://vimeo.com on the handler.
