Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2018.02.08. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

  • I've verified and I assure that I'm running youtube-dl 2018.02.08

Before submitting an issue make sure you have:

Hi there,

Getting a stuttering mp4 file as result, with latest 2 versions

  • Last week, just got ' forbidden' from youtube-dl requests from rtlx.nl
  • After updating youtube-dl, we get stuttering mp4 files
  • See a lot of ' Invalid timestamp' errors and
  • Invalid DTS
  • Using Elementary OS, [Ubuntu 16.04, with all updates]

I'm not sure why you're using -strict experimental, why that parameter would be needed.
-tune "zerolatency" is a video-encoder parameter (for H.264 for instance) and shouldn't be used for a remux.

I've updated ffmpeg, and opened a new case: #15568 [fmpeg 3.4.1-1]
So maybe it is wise to take all comments to that case?

@eladkarako How is posting the content of a random batchfile helping to answer my question?
Your batchfile doesn't make sense at all, if you ask me, but perhaps you could explain to us first why we should use it (this way)?

@eladkarako I'm very disappointed. Instead of explaining why your batchfile has merrit, you delete all your posts here.
I still would like to know if this "Invalid timestamps"-issue can be solved with FFmpeg, so I'll ask this on the FFmpeg user mailinglist some day.
