Can you please provide a official Snap for youtube-dl?

Also hoping for this, a downloader needs to be updated more frequently than the standard release cycle and has no need to be installed deeply into the system, yet alone with an untrusted PPA.

The youtube-dl-casept Snap is a few months out of date but seems like the best option at the moment.

There are several clean officially maintained ways to get always up-to-date version of youtube-dl - use any of them.
