specify download (from arte7)

When downloading videos from arte7 I get always the videos with audio description. Is there a way to tell youtube-dl to download the videos without this additional narration track?

Could you post the output of youtube-dl {THE_URL} --verbose? to know the version and the URL.

I didn't get the subtitles by default, I had to download a specific format. Now if you do youtube-dl 'http://www.arte.tv/guide/de/043659-000/dreiviertelmond?autoplay=1' -F i will show more info for each format. For example:

For getting a version without the subtitles you just need to request some of the *-VAAUD versions, like: youtube-dl 'http://www.arte.tv/guide/de/043659-000/dreiviertelmond?autoplay=1' -f '720-VAAUD'.
