Your "guide" is too high a bar of entry and completely unnecessary for something this simple.

It would be nice if you could add support for peertube, tho: https://joinpeertube.org/en/

I looked at your extractors and none of them seem to be usable, so this needs to be done on youtube-dl side. (I would've requested peertube to add youtube-dl support if an existing extractor seemed usable.)

You might want to consider an open standard for defining video in pages. So that someone else could make their own peertube-like and add support for youtube-dl, without having to look/act like peertube to youtube-dl.

Something with meta(?) tags or something.
