On trying to use youtube-dl, I get the message below. So I press enter, and it seems happy, but on subsequent attempts, the message keeps repeating. No matter what args, I can get no further than the massage. So I cannot get videos or doing anything useful with youtube-dl - the new update method isn't working for me.

I normally have my youtube-dl script in ~/bin folder, not /usr/local/bin/youtube-dl, such that I can update without sudo. Elsewise, my youtube-dl is broken for now.

The annoying message....

Hi! We changed distribution method and now youtube-dl needs to update itself one more time. This will only happen once. Simply press enter to go on. Sorry for the trouble! From now on, get the binaries from http://rg3.github.io/youtube-dl/download.html, not from the git repository.

Done! Now you can run youtube-dl.

Sorry, the release process aborted due to a networking issue and I had to resume it by hand. Looks like something went wrong during the manual release and the legacy binary slipped into the release. I deleted the offending 2013.10.22 files and released 2013.10.23, which fixes this problem.

Thank you very much for reporting this. After updating just once more, everything should work fine again. Sorry!
