  • Feature request (request for a new functionality)
  • Question
  • Other

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

When I download using your tool, why doesn't the video appear in the folder 'Downloads'? If this is not intended functionality, can it be? My computer is a mess and it's quite hard to find videos just from the apparent title.

So for example:
[youtube] 0Mj4DJ_NMQo: Downloading webpage
[youtube] 0Mj4DJ_NMQo: Downloading video info webpage
[youtube] 0Mj4DJ_NMQo: Extracting video information
[download] Destination: Talked About Scene - Episode 711 - Mad Men - Time & Life-0Mj4DJ_NMQo.mp4
[download] 100% of 18.50MiB in 00:03

It could also say:

[download] Location: path/to/video (or something of the sort)

This way users can immediately go thru path directly in terminal and streamline this process even more!

@Hrxn - Can't it state it, regardless of whether I hard code the command in? (by default)

Much easier for newbies such as myself.

Also, this info is hidden under a tab called 'Output template examples' - why not go for something that is more understandable and specific command?

Say... 'Set Path of Download'

In all honesty, your documentation is A++++++ but it should just be broken down into parts where newbies like me can Cmd+F and be re-directed easily :)

Just my opinion btw - love your app and just getting into open source
