Make sure you are using the latest version: run youtube-dl --version and ensure your version is 2018.06.19. If it's not, read this FAQ entry and update. Issues with outdated version will be rejected.

Description of your issue, suggested solution and other information

Anime-on-demand.de suddenly stopped working, Although I have an active subscription I am getting 401 “Unauthorized” errors. Already tried using cookies.txt instead of -u -p but to no avail.

It downloads the teasers, but not the actual playlists.

The problem is caused by using "anime-on-demand.de" instead of "www.anime-on-demand.de"
I guess the extractor could rewrite the urls automatically but it doesn't. I think this can be #closed
